Dining Dollars

Use Dining Dollars at any permanent Maryland Dining location on campus. Look for the Dining Dollars logo behind the register. You access Dining Dollars using your UMD ID card. You get a discount when you buy Dining Dollars – either as part of an upgraded dining plan or in a bundle – and you don’t pay sales tax when you use them!

You get the biggest discount when you purchase Dining Dollars as part of your Anytime Dining plan. We strongly recommend the upgraded plans. You also get a great discount. Dining Dollars enable you to get fresh carryout from cafés and convenience shops on days when you can’t — or prefer not to — eat in a dining hall. Dining Dollars are great for room snacks and supplies.

When you purchase Dining Dollars in a bundle, you still get a discount! They can be bundled in 125, 250 or 500.

Dining Dollars are not refundable. Dining Dollars purchased in bundles roll over Fall to Spring and expire at graduation.

Not sure if you have Dining Dollars? Check your Dining Dollars balance at Your Dining Account or email us at diningplan@umd.edu.
