To make changes to your W-4 (name, address & withholdings) or Direct Deposit please visit the Payroll Online Service Center or fill out a new form listed below and provide it to your payroll specialist. https://interactive.marylandtaxes.gov/extranet/cpb/posc/user/start.aspx or Maryland Payroll Online Service Center
POSC provides secure access to the following:
- Pay stubs
- W2 information
- Address update capability
- Direct Deposit Authorization Changes (if currently enrolled)
- Verify/obtain your SPS Workday number (for benefits)
- W4 Withholding changes to the State W4. Changes to the federal W4 need to be completed on the paper form.

As Employees, you can access your pay stubs in ARES at https://ares.umd.edu/home/
· Go to Ares website.
· Click on Payroll and Human Resources
· Then click on Bi-Weekly Earnings Statement.
· Log in to Ares.
· Verify with Duo (MFA- Multi-factor authentication)
· Select the time period you wish to view
· Click on View/Print Bi-Weekly Earnings Statement
