The UMD Campus Pantry services Maryland students, faculty, and staff experiencing food hardship by providing emergency food. We are looking for students who would like to Intern at the Campus Pantry for Spring 2017!
Students in this internship position will take classes and complete projects to learn about food insecurity and assist the efforts to alleviate this public health issue on our campus. Students are required to commit 120 hours for the semester. Interns will be required to work during Campus Pantry operating hours, including donation and food sorting shifts and food distributions. Interns will also participate in a twice-monthly seminar featuring campus and community speakers who work on food insecurity and health issues.
