Dining @ Maryland

September tip

Many Americans will travel over the Labor Day holiday.

Try to eat every three or four hours to prevent eating large portions once you have arrived at your destination.

If you’re traveling by car, pack a cooler with sandwiches, fruit and chopped vegetables. Granola, whole-grain bread and cereals can also be eaten as a quick on-the-go snack.
If you travel via train or air, you can pack portable foods like nuts, dried fruit, granola bars and whole-grain crackers.
