Tips During Finals Week:

Don’t Skip Breakfast!
• It has been proven that eating breakfast improves test scores!
• Eating breakfast helps you to focus, solve problems, and have better hand-eye coordination.

Healthy Snacks: Skip the Sugar
• Pack some dried fruit, pretzels, baked crackers, unsalted nuts, yogurt or carrots.
• Watch out for those granola bars! Some can be loaded with unnecessary fat and sugar!

Caffeine: Don’t over do it!
• More than 500 to 600 mg of caffeine a day or about 4 to 7 cups of coffee can cause: Irritability, anxiety, restlessness, headaches, sleeplessness, and even abnormal heart rhythms. Re-think those energy drinks! Stay hydrated with water.

Take a Walk!
• Taking a short walk of 5-10 minutes can help improve blood circulation to the brain and help you re-focus your efforts!
